I recently checked my SASSA SRD appeal status, and unfortunately, my application was declined. I noticed there’s an option to appeal, but I want to be sure I’m following the process correctly to give it the best chance.
From what I understand:
Appeal Submission: It’s possible to submit an appeal within 30 days of the decline notice, using the SASSA Appeals platform.
Documents: Does anyone know if extra documents are needed when filing an appeal, or is it just a re-evaluation of the original application?
Waiting Period: How long did it take for your appeal to process? I’d like to know what to expect in terms of timing.
